TFL MOD DETAILED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS


Detailed Instructions for Installing the Discovery483_TFLVers11 Mod
Having trouble installing the mod files? Did you down load and install the Freelancer Mod Manager program? if not...

1. Download the FlModManager file from our Downloads section.

2. Locate where you downloaded it to on your computer (I use Windows Explorer to search for and use files on my computer) with your mouse double click on it (the file) and it will run an installation program.

3. Just follow the on screen instructions. When complete you'll find an icon on your desk top to start the program. When you run the program you'll notice that it has several mods already installed and available for use.

4. With the Freelancer Mod Manager program it is possible to add more mods to the program and have them available for activation all you have to do is download the Discovery483_TFLVers11 Mod file from the web site.

5. Then using Windows Explorer locate the TopFlsExpansionModvx.xx file where you downloaded it to on your computer (like you did above). Highlight it with your mouse and double click on it. After a moment you will get a message on your screen that says something like.."Discovery483_TFLVers11 Mod is now installed and ready to be activated".

6. Now when you restart the Freelancer Mod Manager program you'll notice that the Discovery483_TFLVers11 Mod is now among the list of mods you can activate.


7. Click on it and then click on the button that says activate mod. You will now see a green check mark next to it in the list this means that it is activated... Make sure before activating this mod that no other mod is active they should all have a red x next to them except the TopFlsExpansionModvx.xx.

Please only activate the Discovery483_TFLVers11 Mod mod and no other mod when using this server and deactivate it before using other servers or you most likely crash the servers and get banned. The program will not hurt your game when you no longer need it and you want to restore your original freelancer game just deactivate all mods.

If your having trouble finding the files you downloaded to your computer you can use start menu search option and search for files flmminstallerv1.2.zip and Discovery483_TFLVers11.zip.flmm. If you continue to have problems please register on our forum and post the problem.
