for anyone who still reads this...
I've been building myself a ship for freelancer, and I have gotten to a point where I want to do a custom skin for it. I'm using paint.net, UVMapper classic, and milkshape 3D.
I've been playing around with a tree of all things. I build a cylinder with a sphere on top. I set them as seperate groups, then unwrap them the same. My problem is, when I go to set the texture as a... well, texture, it doesn't line back up for some reason, and it basically scrambles the colors over it.
If you know of a good tutorial, please give me a link, i've been looking for one specifically for FL, but am having little to no luck.
Thanks. _________________ HLF Vogtland Ship Repair Manager, Benny's Bar tender

Welcome to the joys of texturing Zeta, it's the reason I made this (http://claidheam-righ.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d1txnoq (There's profanity)). I haven't used ms in a while, using 3ds max now, but you probably won't find an fl specific one, just look for general milkshape texturing tutorials. _________________
