General Server Rules
Rule #1:
Do not use any other mods besides the TFL Parallel Universe V144_8 Mod
available on this site. This includes the ones that come with the mod manager
program. Only the TFLMod is supported. You can crash the server and some see it
as cheating. You will be banned for this automatically by the server software
or admins so please check and make sure that the TFLMod is all that is active.
Rule #2:
Do not create offensive "Named Characters" they will be removed immediately.
Also do not copy the name of an existing player; you are asked to pick a
different name to avoid confusion.
Rule #3:
Please don't park on the server especially if you see that it is busy. This
just gives everyone a chance to get on and is just common courtesy. This also
applies to players using two computers to log on the server at the same time.
Rule #4:
Do not attack any Freelancer under level 40. Please be aware, if you have
differences with another players, avoid that player. If you both can't work it
out you may both have to go! Were looking for mature people who can show
respect for one another and have fun.
Rule #5:
Taxes and Tolls fall under the category of Roleplay. There will therefore be no
taxation or collection of tolls to any player under level 40, See the roleplay
rules (currently under revision) for more information.
Rule #6:
Do not trap any players in a base or planet. Doing this is really lame and a
real man or woman would fight them in open space. Repeatly killing a player
trying to emerge from a dock (known here as "dock rape") is a punishable
offence.
Rule #7:
Do not confuse these rules with role playing rules. The role playing rules also
apply to players playing on TFL as this is a RP Server.
Rule #8:
Do not use foul language (curse) there are young and Adult players alike on
this server. Remember we have people playing from all over the world. Language
that is acceptable in one country may not be acceptable in another. We are all
here to have fun and I don't think we need nasty mouths on the server if you
can't contain yourself please leave.
Rule #9:
Do not be nasty to other players there is no reason for this within the
confines of a game. Let face it we all make mistakes and most likely a player
who wronged you did so unintentionally. If you have a problem with a Freelancer
or clan member please talk to their clan leader first. If you feel you have had
no joy , then please contact a member of the TFL Admin Team.
Rule #10:
Racist behaviour will not be tolerated on TFL.
Rule #10:
Do not use Game bugs and glitches that give you advantage over other Players.
This is a modded and competitive server so people will get upset if you use
these and you will get banned. Also these bugs really screw the server up and
lag too.
