The TFL Ventrilo server is a 12-user voice-communication server hosted by topfreelancers.net. Ventrilo can be used by clans and all players to organize online and in-game strategy and just general voice-chat. It is the best voice communication software available and the clearest allowing clans and all players to discuss strategy and tactics in real-time for a more productive and exciting online gaming experience.

This is a RATED-G & Family Friendly Environment. No cursing or swearing. Please be considerate to other players. If you are banned in the TFL Ventrilo Server, you will also be banned from the TFL Game Server.

Group Channels are for Grouped Players In-Game only. If you are not part of that group, do not join their channel. If you join a group by accident please leave their channel immediately.

 
 
VENTRILO CLIENT SETUP
 

Ventrilo Client setup instructions:
1. Download the latest Ventrilo Client from www.ventrilo.com or from the TFL Site.
2. Install the Ventrilo client.
3. Launch or start the Ventrilo Software.
4. Click on the Right-Arrow to the right of the UserName as shown below.


5 . Create a new username


6 . Type and enter your name in the field as shown below and click "OK":


7 . Click "OK" again in the next screen


8 . Setup the server connection by click on the arrow shown below:


9 . Click "New" to setup a server connection:


10. Enter a name for the Server or the name shown below:


11. Enter the following information below and click "OK":
HOSTNAME or IP: ventrilo2.va.powervs.com
PORT NUMBER: 5021


12. Click connect.


13. Connection to the TFL Ventrilo Server. We recommend that you bind a key for speech.


14. BINDING A KEY FOR SPEAKING - Click on "Setup" as shown below:


15. Select the checkbox and a Hot-Key for speech.
